Flying solo

Due to a family emergency, it was necessary for David to go to Abilene. We both decided that it would be much easier if he went alone and we stayed here.

Now, it had been a crazy week already. I woke up sick on Monday and was finally feeling somewhat better yesterday. Justin was feverish and throwing up on Monday. A trip to the pediatrician showed that Justin had an ear infection. Luckily, with the antibiotics, he was back to himself by Wednesday.

I was a bit nervous about having them by myself overnight. I've done it before, just not while recovering from illness. Luckily, everything went very well, and I feel pretty much back to normal (well, normal for me) today!
